Forget it. Polaroid has stopped producing this film. Most supplies have already been bought out. Save yourself the aggro and look into an inexpensive digital.
Unfortunately, Polaroid is indeed ceasing film production. FujiFilm is making replacements for some of Polaroid’s products (Type 669 film and 4×5” Instant Film). Presently, Fuji has not announced that the will be making replacements for the Integral film types (Type 600), and have not made any intimations that they plan on doing that.
It may be slightly hard to find Type 600 film out there. If you look around, I’m not sure about all Targets, but I remember the target by my apartment had some 600 film there.
If you’re interested in the film that Fuji is making, it’s FP-100C, and it is used in any camera that is compatible with Type 669 film. I personally have a LandCamera 210, 215, 230, and 440. I’ve found them at thrift stores for between $3 and $10, and all were in working condition.
If you have any questions, you can ask me anytime.

Unlike what the other answerer’s said, I do believe Polaroid is still making the 600 film. It’s the Time Zero film they ceased production of.
I noticed some at Longs Drugs last week when I was trying to find 35mm film. Amazon.com has some, and eBay too.
If you’re on the East coast try:
Walgreens, CVS and Duane Reade.
