Polaroid has gone digital with their new printer that combines the immediate results of a Polaroid picture with the convenience of digital technology. The Digital Instant Printer creates prints using a USB drive, directly from your camera, or using Bluetooth, directly from your cell phone. The smallest mobile printer on the market fits within the palm of your hand, uses no messy ink, and only costs about $150.00.

videos.webpronews.com Polaroid revealed their latest take on instant photography at CES 2009. The camera is the second product in the Polaroid PoGo line of products. It prints the photos on ZINK Paper (Zero Ink Printing Technology) that the previously announced printer use. Just as you would normally do with pictures from your digital camera, you can crop, edit, and zoom in on your pictures on a 3-inch color LCD screen before printing them. No Ink to refill, no cartridges to change, the photos are created by some sort of reaction (I suspect elven magic) with the paper you load into the camera.
