the batterys are inside of the film cartrage.
because when they origanally started making polaroid cameras they didnt have actuall batterys really yet, so they put the batterys in with the film, (thats why the film is so expencive) the films also expencive because it developes and has all the developing agents inside of the film paper. (if u add up the price of film batterys and developing of a regular film camera its more expencive then the film of a polaroid camera)

This camera was taken off the market years ago when Kodiak sued Polaroid for stealing their film technology.
